Yes, Dhruv is my favorite. Just because he uses his mind and that too logically. No exaggeration like Chacha Chaudhary ( CC ka dimag computer se bhi tej chalta hai. etc. etc.)

This one is pick from Marvel's cat women. Black cat is one of the character Raj comics has called back in many comics.

After few initial comics Raj tried to get romantic angle in Dhruv's life and this is one such story.

Anyways I am back. I had some family problem though I am not out of it. I do not think it is wise to keep you waiting. Here I am back with Comics links and fasten your seat belts there are lot many things coming. You keep reading and I am going to keep posting. Soon you will also catch me on other comic blogs also.

This one is a typical Dhruv Story. With no super villain and some mystery that Dhruv solve with his super tej dimag.

One point to note is that the writer keep us telling that Dhruv does not have his own family and is adopted.

Wow Dhruv gets super gadget. Just to make sure that the super hero is recognizable in his uniform he get a gadget from his super genius sister. He gets a gadget to keep him warm in freezing temperatures of Himalaya.

This also introduces Yeti in Dhruv comics who comes coming back in many comics.

Trying to get the two super heroes together. Though the meeting looks typically filmy but works. Tried to explaing the past of Shakti but it is not complete.

Some of the page scan are dull but does not break the story drastically.

Since Shakti is not much in the comic the author has also named it to Kal aur Doga.

Though it has multiple super heroes and most peoples' favourites Dhruv and Doga. I am mentioning this as Dhruv comics as the comics starts and ends with Dhruv.

I am suprised how does the writer mention Abu Salem as patriot. It is like giving clean cheat before court says anything.

To understand more just go ahead and read the comic. I do not want to spoil the secret any more.

Another story of Doga with Another super Hero by Raj comics Inspector Steel. Doesn't it resemble to Robo cop. Yes it does. I believe Raj comics had most of the Super heroes borrowed from Holywood or American/European comics. The only thing it did was to give it few attachments.

As I said in one of previous post Doga and Dhruv are the ones without super power and that is the reason they never loose to anyone except to each other.

Introducing another super hero from Raj comics। Bhokal। He is "para" ( परा ) yes para I have heard of pari (fairy) I did not know male fairy is called para in Hindi or this is raj comics special.

I am looking for the origin of this super star. If someone can point me it will be good help.

Doga Nasoor

A good story. A typical doga type of story. I read it for the first time and I have started liking doga. He is like Amirkhan for Rand ge basanti. Fighting against crime and that is the only thing I like.

Continuing the story of Jurassic Parmanu. This is not in contact continuation but these are the worst parmanu stories I have ever read. The story series ends with this comic.

The comparision of Parmanu and Bheem was way out of story line and not at all relevent. It is more like C or D grade hindi movie.

Introducing yet another Indian Super hero Parmanu. He leaves in Delhi and like Phantom he to has a pat name. He is called "दिल्ली कि छत" (roof of Delhi).

My comparision he is Indian version of Batman. Like batman he wears a belt that that all the utilities and gives him superpower. He has a guardian probot (Professor Robot).

This one is not the first of his comic but Hope you will like it.

Introducing another Super hero BHEDIYA. It resembles wolf man. This comic is not in a sequence. I could not fine the first one of this so starting from this one.

The super hero is a wolfman who leaves in Jungle and is a god to wolves.

Bankelal #1: Bankelal ka Kamal

Presenting another famous comic character in India Bankelal. Though I am not fan of this character. I do not remember reading it for more than 14 years untill I read this one before posting.

This is the first comic on Bankelal.
It was really amusing to know that god has been fooled by a child and the way things turn up.

Introducing another super hero by Raj comics. Doga. The dog faced hero.

There is a change in sequence here. This is not the first comic on Doga.

One of my observations. This is only other second hero after Dhruv who does not get defeated by any villain. Like Dhruv, Doga does not have super powers. The two super heroes are totally different
- Dhruv does not use firearms. Doga depends on it.
- Dhruv never kills. Doga always kills.
- Dhruv uses his brain. Doga uses his mucles.
- Dhruv can talks to all animals. Doga can talks to dogs.
- Dhruv does not have any secret identity. Doga has.
- Dhruv take helps from other many times. Doga never takes help.
- Dhruv is famous for his coolness. Doga is famous for his temper.
- Dhruv helps police. Doga is followed by police.

By the time this comic was published Dhruv was established as super hero in Indian comic history. Though he was addressed as kid throughout the comic. See the last picture it indicated that even the publishers were aware of Dhruv being accepted and had fans following.

This one introduces Chandika as second grade of Super hero. Chandika is a mysterious character for the main super hero Dhruv, who is in real life his sister. Though she does not come out often but comes out when ever dhruv is in trouble. And surprisingly she always wins the battle which the main super hero fails to win.

Not a great quality of pictures, poor quality of inking and not so great story. I am trying to review the history of Nagraj. The more popular Nagraj stories will soon follow. Meanwhile the third story that gave a super hero in India in early 90s.

After two regular comics with Normal and Logical stories Raj comics tried to give super villains against the super heroes but after two comics went back to more logical form. Though many of the Dhruv comics have super villains and non logical facts but this one is odd one with villains having scientific super power.

Second comics on Nagraj. Once a terrorist now he has taken oath to remove terrorism. After few comics on fighting terror nagraj also settles down to a common super hero approach or Gotham city(Batman), Rajnagar (Dhruv). He settles down at Mahanagar and his oath is gone and becomes a super hero fighting local evils only.

Since this is the initial comic one can see the poor art work and the poor expressions. The story is also not in great shape the only thing good is the super power of the super hero. I am doubtfull you will enjoy it but I am confident you will like the treasure.

Dhruv#2: Roman Hatyara

The Second comics on Super commando Dhruv. The comic itself tried to portait Dhruv as a kid super hero. It is only after few comics that the creator has stopped portraying Dhruv as kid has mentioned him as a adult.

Those who are phantom fans might be able to map the story with "Death in the central park" It has the same story but a different approach at the end. The phantom's story ends with mystery of the god where as here it ends with proper logical approach.

Do you ever wonder from where the Indian Super Hero (from Raj comics) evolved.

I know I am using marketing words. Presenting the first comics of Indian super hero with mixture of many super hero.
- He is smart and intelligent. If Chacha Chudhari's mind works faster than computer, Dhruv is still smarter.
- He is the only hero by Raj comics with out any secret Identity.
- Initially portraied as kid but now is shown matured.
- Most girls fall in love with him (like phantom) but he does not have any interest.
- The only exception for falling in love is Renu his assistant at commando force (Miss Tagma for phantom his kids caretaker and teacher)
- Though he is super hero he does not know his sister is Chandika (coming up in next couple of issue). Where the others know her identity.

Nagraj- An indian Super hero with unimaginable superpower. Things he does are very unrealistic. He always has horrific enemies and he always overpower with purprise. If you see clearly you will be able to find the shades of "Phantom -The ghose who walks".
As an example.
Phantom does not arrest but just tell them to report to police. Similarly Nagraj wraps a snake which leave them only when they report to police.
